Закрепление и совершенствование знаний учащихся по теме «Кино».

1) Обеспечить в ходе урока усвоение учащимися лексики по данной теме.

The procedure of the lesson:

T: Good morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?

How are you today? What’s the weather like today? Do you like to watch films? What kind of films do you like? What kind of music do you like?

Ex. 9 p. 56 Read and translate the text.

The theme of our lesson is “Video or cinema?”. Today we are going to talk and find out what is better and more popular video or cinema?

Open your books at page 58 ex. 1. Make matches.

Eg.: news – information about what is happening in the world.

Write sentences about programmes you like using the expressions.

Eg.: I think educational programmes are useful.

Ex. 2 p. 58 Read the dialogues.

Ex. 3 p. 58 Pair work. Make small dialogues.

Ex. 4 p. 59 Pair work. Ask each other questions and answer them.

Ex. 5 p. 59 Make a Top 5 of TV programmes of Kazakhstan. Then discuss and choose the most popular.

Ex. 6 p. 59 Read and answer: Do these people think video is Good or Bad?

Ex. 7 p. 60 Make matches and fill in gaps.

Ex. 8 p. 60 Fill in the table and answer the questions.

Ex. 10 p. 61 Read the SWOTs of Videos and add some more ideas.

Ex. 11 p. 61 Translate the phrases with the verb “turn” and fill in gaps.

Ex. 12 p. 61 How do you say it in your mother tongue?

Ex. 13 p. 62 Discuss the newspapers you like to read.
