Open your books at page 209 and read grammar rules Ex. 2 p. 209 Read the chart about modal verbs can and could. Ex. 3 p. 209 Answer the following questions. Explain the meaning of the modal verbs “can” and “could” in the following questions and sentences. Example: What you could do when you were 5? I could play when I was 5. Ex. 4 p. 210 Read about the modal verbs “may” and “might”. Ex. 5 p. 210 Make sentences with may, might, must based on given situations. Example: My mother might be at work now. She must be at the theatre at this moment. Explain the meaning of these sentences. Ex. 6 p. 211 Read the sentences. What are the meanings of the modal verbs in these sentences? Ex. 15 p.
