The procedure of the lesson:
T: Good morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?
How are you today? What’s the weather like today? What are the best health habits? What are the worst health habits?
Task 2 p. 32 Give me your copybooks.
The theme of our lesson is “Sports for health”. Today we will talk about the importance of sport in our life.
Task 4 p. 32 Pair work. Make up a dialogue between the doctor and a boy using the following phrases.
Task 5 p. 33 Read the texts and match them to the sport. Write down these sentences filling in the missing words.
Eg.: Swimming makes your body flexible.
Task 6 p. 34 Writing. Look at the words in the box for 1 minute. Then close your books and write down all the words you can remember.
Task 7 p. 34 Make a survey about eating using the following questions. Draw a graph and add bars to show the number of students who answer “yes” to each of the questions in your survey. Write a short report about your survey using the useful expressions.

Task 8 p. 35 Reading. Read the text.
Task 9 p. 36 Writing. Finish up the ideas about health in a funny way and read them to the class.
Task 10 p. 36 Read two different opinions about health. Act out a conversation about smoking using facts from the texts.
Divide into three groups. Each group should make a poster about health habits. 1 group – “No smoking”, 2 group – “Sport is good for your health”, 3 group – “Eat healthy food!”.
