T: Good morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?

Who can tell me, what day is it today? What kinds of sport do you know? Do you like sport? Do you go in for sport?

Today we are going to talk about sport: is it exciting or dangerous?

Ex. 1 p. 61 Match the definition and the name of the sport.

Example: It’s the sport of climbing mountains. – mountaineering.

Ex. 2 p. 62 Read the names of sports and say what is common about the following sports.

Ex. 3 p. 62 Which of the groups do you think is the riskiest? Why?

Ex. 4 p. 62 Complete the table.

Ex. 5 p. 62 Read the article about the riskiest sports. What do you find most surprising?
