T: Good morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?

Ex. 1 p. 36 Listen and read the tongue- twister.

Ex. 3,4 p. 11 (w/b) Give me your copybooks!

Word dictation.

The theme of our lesson is “Last weekend”. Today we are going to practice in using the Present Simple Tense.

Ex. 2 p. 36 Read the dialogue and pay attention to the words in bold.

Ex. 3 p. 37 Write out the questions with the question words Where? What? Who? What time?

Ex. 4 p. 37 Interview one of your classmates as Olga did.

Ex. 5 p. 37 Read Olga’s interview.

Ex. 6 p. 37 Write about your interview as in ex.5.

Ex. 7 p. 37 Open your vocabularies and write down the new words. Listen to some people about what they did last weekend. Write the names next to the phrases. Read it on page 190.

Ex. 8 p. 38 Write questions about these people.

Ex. 9. 38 Write some sentences about what did you do last Sunday.

Ex. 10, 11, 12 p. 38 Complete the questions and ask your partner.
